New to sewing, new to your machine, or just never quite clicked with it? This relaxed, no-pressure hour is all about building a friendly relationship with your machine. We'll cover threading, bobbin winding, tension basics, choosing the right needle and stitch for your project, and how to troubleshoot the little hiccups that trip up so many sewists. Bring your machine (and manual, if you have it) — you'll leave feeling confident and ready to sew.
Getting to Know Your Machine Better (2 hours)
Ready to go deeper? This two-hour session picks up where the basics leave off and explores everything your machine can really do — specialty stitches, presser feet and when to use them, tension troubleshooting, an intro to free-motion work, and simple maintenance to keep your machine happy for years to come. Perfect for quilters who want to feel like they truly know their machine, not just push the pedal.
